OBJECTIVES OF THE CLUB
The main objectives of the YRC movement is based on the principles of protection of health and life, service to the sick and suffering, promotion of national and international friendship to develop the mental and moral capacities of youth.
ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2019-20
- International Yoga day was celebrated at IRCS premises, Chennai. YRC volunteers from our college participated and performed Yoga Asanas. .
- On the 70th Anniversary of Geneva convention, several competitions were conducted..
- Awareness on harmful effects of plastic and training to make paper bags.
- Awareness program on Safe Travel in Metro was conducted by Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) .
- Leprosy Awareness program was organized in collaboration with the Department of Public health and Preventive Medicine, Govt. of Tamilnadu in which , Dr.C.Vijayabaskar, Honorable minister for Health and Family Welfare ,Dr.Bela Rajesh, Health Secretary, Govt.of Tamilnadu participated. A Skin Screening Camp was organized.
