ROTARACT CLUB (ROT)

Rotaract serves as a key extension activity of the college, offering students valuable opportunities for community service and leadership development. As a partner of Rotary International, Rotaract engages young people in meaningful social and professional activities.

At our institution, enrolment in the Rotaract Club is mandatory for all students. The Rotaract Club of Chennai Legends welcomes every student to be part of this vibrant community. Students can complete their enrolment by paying a subscription of Rs: 1000 through the official Rotaract Club account.

The Rotaract Club has conducted diverse range of impactful activities during the academic year, focusing on leadership, community service, cultural awareness, and social responsibility. The year began with “REVIVAL,” the club’s installation ceremony, marking the transition of leadership and promoting unity among members. Various club service initiatives such as traditional games (Parambariya Vilaiyattu), cultural celebrations like Thiruvonam Thalappoli and Pongal Thiruvizha, and bonding activities like Eat, Meet, Repeat fostered teamwork and cultural appreciation. Community service projects including Thread with Love, Anbin Unavu, Love, and beach initiatives spread kindness, supported the needy, and promoted social responsibility. Awareness programs on hygiene, motivation (Spark the Future), and tribute events like Valor enhanced students’ knowledge, patriotism, and personal development. Outreach efforts and small initiatives like “A Little Note, A Lot of Positivity” emphasized compassion and positivity. Overall, these activities collectively encouraged leadership, service, cultural values, and community engagement among Rotaractors.
