Ms. SHOBANA BALAJI ACHAR B.COM., MBA.,
1998-2001
DESIGNATION - INFORMATICS LEADER IN ERP AT GENENTECH/ROCHE IN THE SILICON VALLEY
"I was part of the early years of the college, which gave us the opportunity to help shape its culture and lay a strong foundation for future students. The friendships I built during that time remain an important part of my life. As Cultural Secretary, I organized the first inter-college cultural event, introducing creative programs that brought us closer as a community while raising funds for college activities. I look back on those days with great fondness. After graduation, I completed my MBA in Finance through correspondence while working in roles such as teaching, tutoring and at a call center. After nearly a decade in the outsourcing industry, I moved to the US and worked as a Program Manager with Cisco, Wells Fargo and later Genentech (Roche), a biotechnology company focused on advancing patient care."

Ms. ARTHY A B.COM.,
2005-2008
THE DIRECTOR, DANIEL THOMAS MATRICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL
"I joined MGR Janaki College for B. Com (General), the college experience has undeniably been the cornerstone of my success story, serving as the launchpad for a trajectory that led to me to working with brands like Sun Direct DTH Pvt. Ltd. Company and Butterfly Kitchen and home appliances and currently playing a leading role in an educational Institution. The academic rigor and comprehensive curriculum of my undergraduate years equipped me with a profound understanding of business principles, financial acumen and strategic thinking. However, the influence of my college extends beyond the classroom – serving as the General Secretary of NSS bestowed upon me invaluable leadership skills and a passion for community service. Organizing events, participating in sports and engaging in cultural activities not only enriched my college life but also honed my organizational and interpersonal skills. These diverse experiences, coupled with the strong academic foundation, played a pivotal role in my ability to thrive in the business world."
