Department Of Applied Microbiology
- The PG Department Of Applied Microbiology was instituted in the year 2004. The Department is armed with well qualified, dedicated & professionally experienced faculty members and fosters research & development activities in major thrust areas like Clinical laboratory practices, Molecular diagnosis & immunological assays, soil microbiology & plant growth promotion
- The strength of the department lies in the pote ntial of the students& its bloomed laboratory. The department has well furnished air conditioned lab with computer system, ELISA reader,P CR, UV spectophotometer, soxhlet,P hase contrast Microscope etc.
- Our lab full fledged facility aims to provide R&D activities & encourage”Industry-Institution” interaction. We have collaboration with cavin Kare & Dr.JRK pharma.
- The department adds to its pride ,the well maintained animal house in accordance with the norms of CPCSEA,Animal welfare division, Govt.of India.
- The Department has been successfully conducting Certificate courses like Medical transcription, Mushroom Cultivation& Vermicomposting to empower its students on Entrepreneual skills
- As a other feather to its crown, the department has inaugurated the Journal club”EUPRO” and has released its first news letter “Sukshma Jiva Vidya”
